Adultery Definition
Adultery definition according to Jesus can be found
in the Book of Matthew, 5:27, You have
hear the commandment that says, You must not commit adultery. But I
say, anyone who even looks at a women with lust has already
committed adultery with her in his heart.
As you can see, adultery does not only happen in a
bed, it starts out from the mind.
And if you are looking for legal adultery
definition to divorce
your spouse, try the Book of Mark 10:11-12 instead, He told them, Whoever divorces his wife and marries
someone else commits adultery against her. And if a women divorces
her husband and marries someone else, she commits adultery.
It's a fact that the world can offer many
smart, brilliant and practical advice on surviving
adultery or how to have a better marriage but the truth
is, it's all weak foundation unless it's built on the Word of God.
Come with me to the Book of John, 4:7-30, if
you are the adulterer, you need to come to a realization that no
matter how deep you have gone into this, you can come out of it.
When our source of comfort is the world but not the Word of God. We
begin to thirst on the inside, we crave for love but all from the
wrong places!
The women whom Jesus was asking water from end up
asking Jesus for living water instead. Jesus said but whoever
drinks the water I give him will never thirst! And when Jesus
told her, ,"Go, call your husband and come
back." "I have no husband," she replied.
Jesus said to her, ,"You are
right when you say you have no husband. The fact is, you have had
five husbands, and the man you now have is not your husband.
What you have just said is quite true."
This women involvd in an adulterous relationship
and yet Jesus was willing to forgive and offer her salvation. How
about you?
Adultery does not happen overnight, it's a sign of
some deeper flaws within and only the power of God can transform it!
